Emma Watson, famous for her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter franchise, is renowned for being an environmentally friendly student, and just as brainy off screen as she is on screen.
Having worked with People Tree over the last year trying to push ethical fashion into the lime light, Watson also took a trip to Bangladesh to fully immerse herself in the project and see exactly what goes on behind the scenes of the production line.
“It was an incredible and life-changing experience. I wish everyone had the chance to see the difference Fairtrade makes”.
Emma’s latest eco-friendly project is working alongside designer Alberta Feretti, using only environmentally friendly materials.
The intentions are all very good, and it is all for a good cause, however if any of you can afford to fork out between £300- £1,100 for a skirt, pair of shorts, or a dress then I envy you.
I forget that, despite her being a student, she does have a few bob in the bank, along with a lovely six figure Lancome deal on the way. Sigh.
