So this is what a 21st century girl is, according to 10 year old Willow Smith. The young singer has had heads whipping to and fro, and not for her record selling number one single, but more because of her bold and vivacious fashion sense, and ever changing hairstyles!
Willow has started to mix up her naturally boyish style with her outfits ranging from shell suits to 8in Louis Vuitton platforms and Versace sunglasses. It’s not only her courageous outfits that are causing a buzz, her ever-changing hairstyles come and go quicker than the seasons, I’m surprised she still has any ideas left.
From Mohawk to neon braids, she’s had white, orange yellow and a whole variety of different colours in her hair, along with previously shaving it, braiding it and plaiting it. It’s tiring work just trying to keep up!
I’d like to say she’s building her way up in the world, but she’s already there. No need for her to social climb when you’re part of the Smiths, it just a step, no a shuffle in the right direction and you’re sorted.
Willow and mother, Jada both sat front row at Dolce and Gabbana and Armani at Milan’s fashion week, with the likes of Kylie Minogue and Naomi Campbell.
Not only that but she’s living every teenage girls dream by supporting Justin Bieber on tour. Bet she’s feeling smug.
What’s your opinion on this independent girl? The next Rhianna? Fashion icon?
Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce
Italy’s top designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are no longer being tried for dodging up to $ 1bn (£880m) in tax.
Judge Simone Huerti from Milan cleared the two designers of all accusations of tax evasion on lack of evidence earlier this week at the preliminary hearing.
All senior members of the company were accused of avoiding paying taxes, however all denied the charges since the case went under investigation three years ago.
The accusations came to face after Dolce and Gabbana sold two of their brands Dolce and Gabbana and D&G to a Luxembourg based company called Gado in 2004 and 2005. It was believed that by giving Gado control over these two brands they could avoid paying Italian taxes and could have faced up to a three year sentence.
Dolce and Gabbana have stores in over 33 countries and a huge celebrity clientele such as Madonna, Naomi Campbell and Kylie Minogue. Stefano Gabbana took to Twitter after being acquitted to thank people for their support:
‘Thanks to all for the great support!!!! Love :-)))) Stefano’
So, What do you all think?
It’s been a busy day, had to take a quick (it actually took ages, there was nothing quick about it) trip to our country’s capital.
It was the perfect opportunity to grab some street snaps of (some of) the fashionable people of London. However, as my day was so busy I kept forgetting, so only managed to snap a few girls in the bustle of my busy day.
I also got to go to Dolce and Gabbana’s Dress Me Up London event, but only for about half an hour because I had to get my train so alas I didn’t get to see the end result. I did however get to see the biggest names in the blogging industry start dressing up manikins whilst drinking champagne. Ugh, jealous.
Anyway, on with the show:
Love this top!
Sucks that I didn’t have a DSLR for these pictures, you can’t see the fringe detail on the top. Great outfit though, love the shoes.
Huge fan of these colours at the moment.
Lace shoes!! Really like this outfit, and her hair.
This whole outfit works really well.
Love the jacket with fur detail. Also, really jealous of her hair…
Adore these shorts. Seriously in love with them.
So what’s your opinion on these outfits? Do you think London is Englands fashion capital? Or have I got it all completely wrong?
